May 13, 2019 Good Morning Tappan Families,
Happy Monday! Welcome to your weekly English Language Arts email. See below for information about your child’s class. Please note that this email features both information for 6th and 8th grade classes so please make sure to look for your grade level. Please encourage your child to look at their PowerSchool account on a regular basis. Students in both grades will be finishing the year strong and it is not fun having to make up missed work on beautiful spring days. Weather reminder: Dress in layers. Our ELA classroom runs cool in the morning and warm to uncomfortable in the afternoon. Water bottles are welcome. Juice, soda, and fruity drinks are not welcome. If they spill we could have unwelcome sticky floors and critters. May Office Hours: I will be available most Mondays after school until 4:00 p.m. If a student takes the late bus home they will be escorted down to Homework Club to continue working until 4:30. Please reach out if you would like to meet after school on a day other than Monday Thank you and have an amazing week. Cheers, Mrs. Lee Tappan Middle School [email protected] https://mrsleeaaps.weebly.com/ Dates to Know: May 15 6 pm Tappan’s Literacy Night--Mrs. Lee’s ELA students will receive 5 extra credit points if they come with their family to celebrate their work.
