JANUARY 31, 2019 Good Afternoon Tappan Families,
Happy “Ice” Thursday! Once again this has definitely been an interesting week for school. As you know by now we have been out of school more than we have been in this week. I am hoping to see everyone tomorrow as the weather might warm up, calm down, or just settle in something better suited for the morning commute. Our work for the week has changed and deadlines have been extended. Please see below for updates. Weather reminder: As the weather continues to get colder please remind your child that it is important to dress appropriately to stay warm. If a student decides to wear winter boots and there is not space in their locker I have a spot in my classroom where they can be stored for the day. Also, all winter jackets need to be stored in lockers and not worn to class. Please have your child wear a sweater, fleece, or sweatshirt if they get cold during the day. February Office Hour Update: Office Hours will change in the New Year. I will be available on Mondays after school until 4:00 p.m. If a student takes the late bus home they will be escorted down to Homework Club to continue working until 4:30. Thank you and have an amazing week. Cheers, Mrs. Lee Tappan Middle School [email protected] https://mrsleeaaps.weebly.com/ Dates to Know: February starts tomorrow!
