Hello Tappan Families,
Welcome back from what I hope was a wonderful and restful break. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all of you. It is an honor and a privilege to work with your children in ELA each day. They are smart, kind, courageous, and creative. I look forward to the rest of our school year and can’t wait to see all of their growth. Thank you for your support and partnership in helping each student to succeed. Please see below for your weekly English Language Arts email. Both the 6th and 8th grade students have completed their first large writing unit of the year and you will start to see writing scores entered into powerschool this week. Please remember that students are always welcome to resubmit an assignment to earn a higher score. Also, I am available after school on Mondays and Thursdays until 4:30 by request for anyone wanted to get help, work on assignments, or ask questions. Thank you and have a wonderful week.
